2009 Upgrade Programme:

Lodges:

We have newly timber re-clad ten of the existing lodges and are also putting in new patio doors to Conifer 6 & 7 up the hill.

We have felled a number of selected trees around the site this year to let in more light & open up our beautiful landscape views a bit more.

A host of upgrades including internal painting to new carpets & bathroom suites are all completed

Tigh Beg Croft:

Proving recession proof having been fully booked until 5th December 09 so if you have a special occasion to celebrate or just need to get away from it all, there is no better place, book early………..

Clear fresh water:
Well we finished the upgrade of our private water supply at a cost of £20,000 for new tanks, filtration & purification equipment in winter 08/09. We are now fully attaining all new EU water regulations, so it's still chemical free but now so clear “crystal” it’s magic!

Ardentallen Farmhouse:

The new owners of the house moved in last autumn & are settling into the glen life nicely.

Penlarach:

Our new addition for 2010 to our cottages, our neighbours Jules & Alistair are moving to Washington USA for 3 years, so we now have a new 3 bedroom cottage sleeping 6 to let, set in its own large private grounds with stream at the bottom of garden & stunning views to hills & the loch. Millstone House:

The refurbishment is proving a great success - it's letting out remarkably well and filling well for the 2010 season already. It's a five bedroomed house (3 ensuite) sleeping up to 12 persons and is a great success with fantastic feedback from clients. Millstone works great for large family/friends celebrations etc in conjunction with people also taking up the lodges so close by. View new our picture gallery.

Christmas & New Year 09/10

Oban’s second Hogmanay street party was a great success again, the 3rd Hogmanay party tickets went on sale in August 09 so book early, it's really catching on & will be as big as Edinburgh’s soon!!!! The cottages are nearly all booked up already, lodges still have availability so book early for this great occasion, don’t miss out! The local pub with live entertainment will be going as strong as ever for those who do not want to venture into town!

New addition at Lagnakeil

Digby our 4 month old Great Dane is well and truly installed & is taking over in more ways than one!! Flint our now 94 year old Weimaraner is OK & has now accepted Digby as part of the family, so Digby looks forward to meeting you on your next visit. Picture of pup coming soon...
